Chirp Song: Wings of Praise
Shoot the bubbles to help the Chirps release the power of praise!
About the game
Chirp Song: Wings of Praise is a faith-based bubble shooter set in the world of Rhym. After the villain Axilla captures the magical Chirps and silences their songs, three regions of the land fall into darkness and decay. Players free the trapped Chirps one match at a time across 60 levels and three biomes, watching the songs of praise return color, life, and joy to places the enemy tried to break. Built for the TruPlay platform, with no ads, no chatrooms, and no in-app purchases.
The story
The world of Rhym used to ring with song. Logos created the Chirps, magical bird-like creatures designed to sing the Psalms across the land and praise God in every corner of creation. Then Axilla came.
Axilla cannot control the power of praise. So she did the only thing she could: she captured the Chirps and locked them away. Without their songs, Rhym began to decay. The Forest of Words went dark and silent. The Magnificent Meadows twisted into the Bitter Bog, overrun with Malevolent Mushrooms and Vindictive Vines. TraeCraft, once a thriving home for the TraeFolk, fell into ruins.
The Well Spoken sets the Chirps free. While the RhymSquad (Maple, Oliver, and Benjamin) pursues Axilla to rescue their kidnapped friend Isabella, players take on a different mission. Across three biomes and 60 levels of bubble shooter arcade gameplay, you collect and free trapped Chirps so their voices can return to Rhym.
Each freed Chirp adds to the chorus. As the songs build, the land responds. The Bitter Bog softens back into Magnificent Meadows. TraeCraft blooms again, with flowers singing, wildlife returning, and the TraeFolk coming back home. Snark, Axilla's henchman, fights to keep the Chirps silent at every turn, and Axilla herself grows more furious as praise undoes her work biome by biome.
By the time the final Chirp sings, Rhym is whole again. The thing that healed it is the same thing Axilla never understood: praise.
What this game teaches kids
The world of Rhym broke when praise stopped. As kids play through Chirp Song, they see the reverse happen in real time. Free a Chirp, and its song begins. As the songs build, dark places brighten. Dead ground sprouts. Silenced creatures find their voices again. The mechanic of the game is praise, and the result is restoration.
This is the central lesson kids carry with them. Praise turns your eyes from what is wrong to who is greater than it. It is not background music for faith; it is a force God designed to push back darkness. By the time TraeCraft blooms back to life in the final biome, the lesson has been absorbed without anyone needing to spell it out.
Themes & lessons
Praise as a Joyful Noise
"Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation." - Psalm 95:1 NIV
The Chirps sing this verse at the end of the Forest of Words. Kids learn that praise does not require a trained voice or a perfect heart. Breath and willingness are enough.
Everyone with Breath Is Called
"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." - Psalm 150:6 NIV
The Narrator quotes this in the first biome. It is an open invitation to every child playing the game. Praise is not reserved for adults, professionals, or the spiritually advanced. If you have breath, you have what is needed.
Praise Magnifies God
"Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together." - Psalm 34:3 NIV
The Chirps sing this at the end of the Bitter Bog. To magnify means to make larger in your sight. Kids see how praise enlarges their view of God and shrinks the size of whatever fear or problem had been holding their attention.
Meet the heroes
Maple, Oliver, and Benjamin
The RhymSquad. While players free Chirps across the biomes, this trio pursues Axilla to rescue their kidnapped friend Isabella. Each one appears in other TruPlay games, and their presence in Chirp Song ties this story into the larger narrative of Rhym. Benjamin closes out the final biome by speaking on the joy of the Lord as strength.
The Narrator
The Narrator guides players through Rhym, calling out scripture at the moments that matter most. In the first biome, the Narrator grounds the journey with Psalm 150:6, reminding everyone that every creature with breath is called to praise.
Snark
Snark is Axilla's henchman. His job is to keep the Chirps silenced and the player blocked. He shows up to harass and obstruct, a stand-in for every voice that tries to talk you out of praise when you need it most.
The Chirps
The Chirps are magical bird-like creatures created by Logos to sing the Psalms across Rhym. Axilla captured them because she could not control the power of their songs. As players set them free, their voices return to the world and the songs do the work that nothing else can.
From the developer
We made Chirp Song: Wings of Praise because we wanted kids to feel what praise does, not just hear about it. There is a reason the Bible gives us Psalms. Praise is how God's people have always met fear, grief, and confusion. Not by pretending those feelings away, but by lifting their eyes. Most children grow up being told to pray when they are afraid. Fewer are taught they can sing, declare, and praise their way through it.
Chirp Song became our way of giving them that experience. Every freed Chirp is a small reminder that a child's voice matters. Every restored biome shows that praise is not just a feeling but a force. We set out to make the best bubble shooter game we could for kids growing in their faith, and the result is a game where progress means light returning to dark places.
