About the game

The story

Lucas lost his brother, Chase. When his mother tells him Chase is in Heaven, Lucas takes that literally: his brother must be somewhere in space. So he finds an abandoned Eldavarian rocket ship, the RSS StarHope, and decides to go get him.

But the ship is far from ready. It needs Berindium crystals for power and a fully restored Star Guidance System to chart a course through the stars. With his friend Noah at his side, Lucas sets out to make the ship flight-worthy.

Players pilot the RSS StarHope through the diverse biomes of Rhym in this space shooter game, battling enemies and collecting resources at every turn. The Smudz, dark and relentless creatures, attack without warning. Fearsome robots called Eelwrogs guard both the Berindium crystals and the scattered pieces of the Rhym Guidance System. Every component Lucas recovers restores a piece of the Star Guidance System and opens the path to a new area.

Through 30 levels of this arcade shooter game, Lucas relies on courage, quick reflexes, and Noah's steady encouragement to push forward. Noah, meanwhile, does his best to share his faith with a friend who isn't interested in hearing about God (at least not yet). The Bible verses Lucas encounters at Eldavarian bases start to land differently the deeper he gets into the journey.

Every day and every moment of our lives is uncharted territory, much like Lucas piloting the RSS StarHope through the unknown. So in this arcade shooter game, we wanted to show the perilous but rewarding journey of learning to trust in the Lord, leaning not on our own understanding, and letting Him direct our paths.
