About the game

Benjamin and the Armor of Logos is a Christian action RPG set in the world of Rhym. Players fight alongside Benjamin, a twelve-year-old wolverine and Rhym Ranger, across six biomes of forests, caves, swamps, waterfalls, and icy peaks, collecting the legendary armor described in Ephesians 6. Timing-based parry-dodge-block combat meets RPG progression in the only Armor of God video game built for kids. Ages 7 and up on our platform. No ads, no chatrooms, no in-app purchases.

The story

Isabella has been kidnapped. Axilla took her, and Benjamin knows it.

He's a Rhym Ranger, broad and strong, polar bear hockey gear strapped tight because in Rhym that means "don't test me." But Axilla's Smudz armies aren't a playground scrap. They're spreading across Rhym like ink through water, and Benjamin can't fight his way to Isabella alone.

Yavas, the wise mentor of Rhym, hands him a map. Not to Isabella. To the Armor of Logos: six pieces of spiritual armor hidden across Rhym's most dangerous terrain. The Sword of the Spirit. The Belt of Truth. The Helmet of Salvation. The Breastplate of Righteousness. The Shield of Faith. The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace.

Players pilot Benjamin through each biome in this bible battle game, taking on Smudz in timing-based combat: parry, dodge, block, strike. Resources upgrade weapons and unlock new abilities as each armor piece is equipped. At every stop, the Voice of Logos speaks, training Benjamin as a soldier and telling him something he doesn't want to hear: his strength isn't enough.

By the end? Still fierce. Still protective. But now he prays before he charges.

What this game teaches kids

Theme: Spiritual Warfare & the Armor of God - God equips His people for battle, but the armor demands something in return: dependence on the God who forged it.

Head down, fists up, figure it out yourself. That's how Benjamin approaches the first biome of this action RPG. Works for a while. Then the enemies get fiercer, the terrain turns punishing, and self-reliance crashes into a wall it can't break through.

Each piece of armor comes with a lesson, and none of those lessons are "try harder." Every piece points Benjamin toward the same realization: this fight is bigger than any wolverine, and the God who calls you into it will give you what you need to stand.

God's Armor, Not Ours

"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." - Ephesians 6:13 NIV

Themes & lessons

Facing Your Deepest Fear

Benjamin is afraid of Whyrl Wynds. Not in the abstract. He was carried off by one as a cub, and that memory still runs the show. What does this battle game teach about fear? That God doesn't ask you to stop being afraid. He asks you to trust Him in the middle of it.

Asking for Help Is Strength

For a kid who defines himself as the protector, admitting he can't do it alone is the hardest fight in the game. Benjamin's arc dismantles the lie that needing help is weakness. Vulnerability isn't failure here. It's the turning point.

Training and Preparation

Every biome, every Smudz encounter, every piece of armor is preparation. God trains Benjamin the way He trained David, the shepherd boy who became a king. Hard to teach that in a classroom, but it lands inside a game: difficulty right now might be God getting you ready for something you can't see yet.

Loyalty and Rescue

Benjamin's mission starts and ends with one goal: get Isabella back. He cares about her safety more than his own. For kids, the message is concrete: the people who love you will fight for you, and the best strength is the kind spent protecting others.

Meet the heroes

Benjamin

A twelve-year-old wolverine in polar bear hockey gear. Rhym Ranger. Son of a fire chief. The kid who'd rather absorb a hit than let his friends take one. His mother is stationed at Camp Numa on the Moon studying Whyrl Wynds, and the distance weighs on him more than he admits. His one real fear? Those same Whyrl Wynds, traced to a childhood encounter that left marks deeper than the physical kind. Across this action RPG, Benjamin discovers that the bravest thing you can do is admit you need help.

Yavas

The wise mentor who hands Benjamin the map to each piece of the Armor and to the Light. He doesn't fight Benjamin's battles for him. He points the way, trusts Benjamin to walk it, and stays present when the road goes dark. His role mirrors the people God places in our lives to offer direction without doing the work for us.

The Voice of Logos

Wherever Benjamin discovers a new piece of the Armor, the Voice of Logos speaks. It calls him into service. It prepares him for what's coming. And it reveals what each piece of armor means: equipment for a spiritual battle every bit as real as the Smudz in front of him. Through the Voice of Logos, this Armor of God video game puts scripture directly into the action.

From the developer

The Armor of God passage in Ephesians 6:10-18 is one of the most talked-about sections of the Bible for kids, and one of the least understood. Children memorize the pieces. They hear about them in Sunday school. But spiritual warfare, the idea that God gives real equipment for a real fight beyond what you can see, usually stays abstract.

We wanted to change that. When Benjamin picks up the Shield of Faith and blocks an incoming attack, a child playing that level feels what the metaphor means. When the Voice of Logos speaks Scripture over him before a boss fight, players hear God's word inside a real struggle. That sticks in a way that flashcards don't.

This is our flagship single-player title, and we built every biome and combat encounter to ground one truth: you are never too strong to need God.

Supporting scripture

"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." - Ephesians 6:11 NIV

The call behind Benjamin's entire quest. Every armor piece exists because God knew the battle was coming and chose to equip His people for it.

"I can do all this through him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13 NIV

Benjamin's victories don't come from his own power. This verse captures the shift that defines his arc: from "I can handle this" to "God gives me what I need."

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9 NIV

Courage is a word Benjamin knows well. What changes across the game is where it comes from. It stops being willpower and becomes a response to God's promise to show up in every fight, every moment of fear.

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me." - Psalm 28:7 NIV

The prayer of a warrior who has learned to rely on God, not himself. By the end of this Christian action RPG, this verse doesn't describe something Benjamin hopes for. It describes something he's lived.
